Gold price surges by Rs 9,600 per tola in Pakistan

KARACHI (News Desk): Gold price witnessed a sharp increase in the local market on Thursday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs 9,600 to Rs 435,636, while the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold rose by Rs 8,230 to Rs 373,487.

In the international market, gold prices increased by $96 to $4,131 per ounce.

Similarly, silver prices also recorded an increase. The price of 24-karat silver per tola rose by Rs 100 to Rs 5,763, while 10-gram silver price increased by Rs 85 to Rs 4,940.

International silver prices increased by $1.00 to $52.85 per ounce.
