Pakistan to Host 10th Pak-Iran Joint Trade Committee Meeting in Islamabad


Islamabad: Pakistan will host the 10th Pakistan-Iran Joint Trade Committee Meeting on August 4, 2026, to boost bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Iranian Minister for Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Atabak will co-chair the session. A 22-member Iranian official delegation and a 16-member business delegation led by ICCIMA will participate.

The JTC will review progress on the Pakistan-Iran Free Trade Agreement, cross-border trade, customs and banking cooperation, transport connectivity, and investment. Key sectors include food, energy, logistics, and manufacturing. The meeting underscores both countries’ commitment to deeper regional trade ties.
