KE Warns of Possible Night-Time Load Shedding Amid RLNG Shortage

KARACHI: K-Electric (KE) may resort to load management during evening and night-time peak hours due to nationwide RLNG supply constraints caused by international disruptions and delayed cargoes.

The utility said electricity supply during daytime hours would largely remain stable, while load management would be considered only as a last resort if required.

KE said it was coordinating with Pakistan LNG Limited (PLL) and relevant authorities to ensure early normalisation of the situation and apologized to consumers for the inconvenience.
