Japan Fest 2026 to be held in Karachi on November 13

KARACHI: The Consulate-General of Japan in Karachi will host Japan Fest 2026 on Friday, November 13, 2026, at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi.

The festival is being organized in collaboration with the Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association Sindh (PJCA) and the Pakistan-Japan Business Forum (PJBF).

According to the Consulate-General, Japan Fest 2026 will be a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture, offering people of Karachi a unique opportunity to experience the richness of Japan’s traditions, heritage and contemporary cultural expressions.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. and will feature a lineup of authentic Japanese experiences including a cosplay contest, traditional Japanese dances like Yosakoi and Bon-odori, and J-POP performances.

The venue will also have exhibition stalls featuring fun games, Origami – Japanese paper art, Ikebana – Japanese flower arrangement, and other cultural activities.

Through this event, the Consulate-General aims to further strengthen bonds of friendship and mutual understanding between Japan and Pakistan while creating meaningful cultural encounters for the people of Karachi.
