FPCCI reaffirms Solidarity with Kashmiris on Youm-e-Istehsal
KARACHI: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry held nationwide gatherings on the 7th anniversary of the military siege in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh said the business community stands with Kashmiri people and stressed that peace in South Asia depends on resolving the Kashmir dispute as per UNSC resolutions.
SVP Saquib Fayyaz Magoon and VPs Asif Sakhi and Tariq Jadoon highlighted the economic impact of the siege and the need to raise the issue on international trade forums.
Hurriyat representative Sheikh Abdul Mateen thanked FPCCI. DG PID Irum Tanveer reiterated government support for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.
