Gold price falls by Rs 3,000 per tola in Pakistan

KARACHI (Staff Report): Gold prices witnessed a decline in local and international markets on Wednesday.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24kt gold per tola decreased by Rs 3,000 to settle at Rs 437,836.

The price of 10 grams of 24kt gold fell by Rs 2,572 to Rs 375,373, while 10 grams of 22kt gold decreased by Rs 2,358 to Rs 344,104.

In the international market, gold prices dropped by 30 dollars to 4,153 dollars per ounce.

Similarly, silver prices also declined. Silver per tola fell by Rs 172 to Rs 6,360 and 10 grams silver decreased by Rs 148 to Rs 5,452. In the international market, silver price was recorded at 58.82 dollars, down by 1.72 dollars.
