Gold Prices witness gains on Monday
KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan surged again on Monday, with the rate of 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs 1,700 to reach Rs 428,436, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 1,457 to Rs 367,314, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs 1,335 to Rs 336,716.
The rally follows an increase in international markets, where gold gained $17 to settle at $4,060 per ounce.
Silver also posted gains. The price of silver per tola rose by Rs 54 to Rs 6,291, and 10 grams of silver increased by Rs 46 to Rs 5,393. International silver climbed $0.54 to $58.12 per ounce.
