Gold steady at Rs 437,836 per tola, silver falls Rs 212

KARACHI (News Desk): Gold prices remained unchanged in the local market on Thursday, while silver prices declined, according to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold per tola was stable at Rs 437,836, with no change. Similarly, 10 grams of 24Kt gold held at Rs 375,373, and 10 grams of 22Kt at Rs 344,104.

In the international market, gold was also flat at $4,153 per ounce.

Silver came under pressure. Per tola silver (24Kt) fell by Rs 212 to Rs 6,148, while 10-gram silver declined by Rs 182 to Rs 5,270. International silver dropped by $2.12 to $56.70 per ounce.
